Bean Options

Sourced from the Lintong region of the Sumatra province arrives this bold and dark coffee. Characteristics include a full body and a slight earthiness in each cup. We roast this coffee at a medium-dark level to draw out notes of cacao nib and molasses. Works great in a french press method or as a batch brew.

Smallholder Farming

Coming from the North Sumatra region, each farmer here grows their coffee on one hectare of land or less.

The surrounding area is volcanic with a wide variety of plant life. The high elevation makes it ideal to grow high quality, specialty coffees.

Roasted on our ventless, electric Bellwether Roaster

Thanks to our friends at Bellwether Coffee, we're roasting our coffee on a cutting edge, electric and ventless roaster. 

By using electricity instead of natural gas to roast, our Bellwether reduces our carbon footprint of coffee roasting by an average of 90%. 

With the footprint akin to the size of a refrigerator, we're able to roast in-house at our production center in Vacaville using sustainable practices.

No fumes, no problem
